I believe we should update the guidelines to state that it is not necessary to handle errors unless there is some important reason to. Otherwise, we will end up with so much bloat and unmaintainable code if we try to error handle everywhere.

I also suggest we add a few methods for sanitization if we can.

So far we were not handling wrong input in functions and we will not start doing so, as it will add significant overhead to everything. I updated the guidelines to specify that errors in input should not be handled unless absolutely necessary. Feel free to improve the wording if it's not great.
