Configuration:
For the configuration step you have 2 ways to store your configuration. In Redis or in a YAML file. Please choose 1. If you use Redis, use the bundle console or rails c to store this information. If you use YAML, create a configuration file. You'll only need these lines for GCM:

Sending:
Yes, this could go in a controller or anywhere in your application where you want to send notifications. Please not the comments for the required/optional parameters.
