inside linux.d, the debian file has lines 38 -48 showing this # for ubuntu 22+ and 23+: ubu_major_version="$(grep VERSION_ID /etc/os-release | cut -d "=" -f 2 | cut -d "." -f 1 | tr -d /\"/)" if [ $ubu_major_version = "22" ] || [ $ubu_major_version = "23" ] then REQUIRED_DEV_PACKAGES+=(libwebkit2gtk-4.0-dev curl libfuse-dev libssl-dev libcurl4-openssl-dev m4) elif [ $ubu_major_version = "24" ] This will cause most Ubuntu based distro's to fail, as it is seeking a version number of the products distro not the Ubuntu distro based version that the distro is based on. Example of issue Mint is currently version 22.3, greping the version_id will respond with version 22, which will cause failure on dependency as Mint 22.3 is using Ubuntu 24.04 and has no access to libwebkit2gtk-4.0-dev Fix, use name version of ubuntu_codename to get correct version # for ubuntu 22+ and 23+: ubu_major_version="$(grep UBUNTU_CODENAME /etc/os-release | cut -d "=" -f 2 | cut -d "." -f 1 | tr -d /\"/)" if [ $ubu_major_version = "jammy" ] || [ $ubu_major_version = "lunar" ] then REQUIRED_DEV_PACKAGES+=(libwebkit2gtk-4.0-dev curl libfuse-dev libssl-dev libcurl4-openssl-dev m4) elif [ $ubu_major_version = "nobel" ]
