I cannot replicate your error: 1. Created a new conda environment with Python 3.10. 2. Installed h5py and jsonschema packages. 3. Installed hdf5-json with the same pip command as you. 4. `h5jvalidate` worked on a sample HDF5/JSON file. Do you have HDF5/JSON schema files in the `$CONDA_PREFIX/lib/python3.10/site-packages/h5json/schema` folder?
