### System Information Windows 11 ### LMMS Version(s) 1.3.0-alpha.2 ### Bug Summary Opening a 1.2.2 project file in 1.3.0-alpha.2 with a piano roll segment that is longer than 1 step in a pattern causes all subsequent steps to be cut, making the pattern 1 step long instead of how many there were before. When pressing add steps (in the pattern editor), the segment does come back, and when opening the same file after adding the steps and saving in 1.3.0-alpha.2 (or making the file in 1.3.0-alpha.2 in the first place), it does remember the steps, and only happens when it's a project file from 1.2.2. I don't know about other versions as I did not test them. Sorry for the long and unprofessional summary, it's just a bug I noticed and didn't find any other report about. ### Expected Behaviour The pattern will remember the amount of steps when there is only a piano roll segment. ### Steps To Reproduce 1. Make a 1.2.2 project with a piano roll segment inside a pattern, longer than one step/bar. 2. Save the project and open it in 1.3.0-alpha.2 3. Open the pattern and see that it cut off all subsequent steps/bars. ### Screenshots / Minimum Reproducible Project In the video below, I opened a project that was saved in 1.2.2, as you can see the second bar got cut off in both patterns with a piano roll, but not in the drums pattern. https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/bbc25da0-5ddd-47fd-befb-b39d6acae56a ### Please search the issue tracker for existing bug reports before submitting your own. - [x] I have searched all existing issues and confirmed that this is not a duplicate.
