I wonder if some points in the "Phones" section are still relevant in (almost) 2025.
For example, 802.11b, I really doubt any smartphone today still uses that.
Or apps using plaintext for data transfer, afaik that hasn't been an issue in years.
Many people bring some really old devices as their “secondary travel device”, so in *my* point of view, that still applies.
Keep in mind that people are coming in from all over the planet. So, using an old spare device for your home or event SIM card is still pretty common.
