personProfileURL doesn't seem to return the fill URL for a Google+ account. Instead, it only seems to return the Google+ ID number for a Person. import Network.URL url_path $ personProfileURL person -- Returns a number, not a URL

I think you are mistaken. The result I get is: Right (URL {url_type = Absolute (Host {protocol = HTTP True, host = "plus.google.com", port = Nothing}), url_path = "1234567890", url_params = []}) Note that you called url_path which returns the path, not the full URL. The path to a google plus profile is simply their ID number.
You're quite right !
