### System Info CPU only (parser logic, no GPU needed); TensorRT-LLM main @ 534e1f8a. ### Who can help? _No response_ ### Information - [ ] The official example scripts - [x] My own modified scripts ### Reproduction OpenAI function names may contain hyphens (`^[a-zA-Z0-9_-]{1,64}$`). With `--tool_parser kimi_k2`, a model output calling `functions.get-weather:0` (a tool named `get-weather`) is passed to `KimiK2ToolParser.detect_and_parse` / `parse_streaming_increment`. ### Expected behavior One tool call named `get-weather` with its arguments. ### actual behavior `detect_and_parse` returns no tool calls and the streaming path never emits one, so the call is silently dropped. The tool-call id and name patterns use `[\w\.]+`, which does not match `-`. ### additional notes vLLM's Kimi K2 parser accepts such names. I have a fix with a regression test and will open a PR.
