What's your OS version number? It seems a problem with permissions to execute the script. Check file permissions with: ```sh ls -l /usr/share/remarkable/scripts/set-random-screens.sh ``` Try to start the script manually and see if it works: ```sh /usr/share/remarkable/scripts/set-random-screens.sh ```

My os version of my remarkable is 2.2.0.48 The check of the file permissions : ``` /usr/lib/systemd/user$ ls -l /usr/share/remarkable/scripts/set-random-screens.sh -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 811 Apr 20 02:39 /usr/share/remarkable/scripts/set-random-screens.sh ``` When im trying to start manually i get this : ``` /usr/lib/systemd/user$ /usr/share/remarkable/scripts/set-random-screens.sh -sh: line 9: /usr/share/remarkable/scripts/set-random-screens.sh: Permission denied ``` To test I deactivated the password of my tablet and it still does not work

Okay if found it,i check into the properties of the file with my ssh client and the file dont have the permissions to be executed. I change it to true and its work now. Thanks for your help :)

Good! I'll add a note in the instructions to do that.
