Hello! First of all, love the app.
I think a feature to quickly switch between the top posts and new posts ordering would be useful. Ideally, a button in the top bar which just toggles between them.
It should probably be configurable, with it off by default, and the ability to configure which sections it switches between. 2 is fine for this case, but it could support more.
I use top by default, but I like to switch to new to vote for new stories too.
If you'd like, I can donate AI code to implement this as well.
Hey! This is reasonable, and I've been thinking about something along these lines for a little while. I think the main issue is how to handle the UI. Like if the button is hardcoded to a specific section it might not be relevant to everyone, although that can of course be solved by having it be configurable. Still the problem of where to place the button remain. There is barely any room left available between the dropdown and search icon (we change the font size of the dropdown for smaller screens so that they precisely don't intersect).
More so than AI code, a more detailed design idea would be much appreciated, with your thoughts on how you'd solve it for smaller screens, what type of button, how it would interact with the dropdown, etc.
