Right now on a foldable open to the inner screen, the list of stories is on the left and the article webview is on the right, but one of the best use cases for foldables is reading and so I'd like the web view to take up the full width. One way of implementing this is to make the left/right split resizable.

A fair ask, this is nothing that get's fixed right now but I'll think about this. Like obviously we can get fullscreen foldable reading by just disabling the integrated browser but I understand that is not optimal.

I was thinking something similar, but for the story page. Given I see a HN web link anywhere, it automatically opens in Harmonic. Like below: But then I decide to open the phone to the big screen, and I get this view: It's an awful lot of wasted space! 😭 Could the web view be on the left side, showing the page, and the discussion be on the right side? The "left: story, right: discussion" layout is fine for me when opening the Harmonic app from the app drawer directly. My suggestion targets the "when opening a story by link in the app directly" scenario.

Very fair point and I've been thinking about how to get the WebView next to the comments in a nice way. I don't want to force the user into anything, and I think I want it reachable not just when a user presses a link, but overall what you're describing is desirable. I'm implementing an early version of this right now but yes this should be in the cards.
