Writing a series of Apache Spark programs to analyse an air traffic data set in PySpark using RDDs and DFs, and then optimising the programs for scalability on increasing data volumes.

boston_housing_analysis icon boston_housing_analysis

Using multiple regression to analyse a Boston housing dataset with multiple predictor variables. The data is publicly available and sourced from the U.S Census Service.

covid-shinyapp icon covid-shinyapp

peptide_mass_calculator icon peptide_mass_calculator

This calculator can be helpful when performing peptides database searches, especially in Peptide Mass Fingerprinting (PMF) because it sums the masses of a peptide sequence.

pima_dataset_classification icon pima_dataset_classification

Implementing the K-Nearest Neighbour and NaΓ―ve Bayes algorithms and evaluating them on the pima dataset using the stratified cross validation method.

sydney_cyclability_analysis icon sydney_cyclability_analysis

Analysing data collected from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), to calculate a "cyclability" score for different neighbourhoods in the Greater Sydney area.

threedigitpuzzle icon threedigitpuzzle

Given are two 3-digit numbers called 𝑆 (start) and 𝐺 (goal) and also a set of 3-digit numbers called π‘“π‘œπ‘Ÿπ‘π‘–π‘‘π‘‘π‘’π‘›. To solve the puzzle, we want to get from 𝑆 to 𝐺 in the smallest number of moves. A move is a transformation of one number into another number by adding or subtracting 1 to one of its digits.

usyd_wam_calculator icon usyd_wam_calculator
