All the backends use the same boilerplate code. That is, the state, the IsAcidic, the events. I'll assume that you have that code already.

Now we can write code like this:

myAcidHandler = openAcidState initialState
myFirstQuery = query myAcidHandler (QueryEvent ...)
secondAcidHandler = update_ myAcidHandler (SomeUpdateEvent ...)
thirdAcidHandler = update_ secondAcidHandler (AnotherUpdateEvent ...)
queryOnThird = query thirdAcidHandler (QueryEvent ...)

I hope that's enough to get you going.

Thanks! I think my issue was I was trying to do this in a monad when really a let...in would do.
