Hello @braniii
Thank you for creating this issue. We will investigate it and get back to you as soon as we have some feedback.
from setup-python.
Hi @braniii, The issue seems to be related to the ctornau/latex container. The Python versions being installed by the actions/setup-python action might not be compatible with the system dependencies of the ctornau/latex container. This might have led to the issue of pip not being found for Python 3.11 and 3.12.
By not using the ctornau/latex container, the workflow runs successfully because the workflow runs directly on the GitHub-hosted runner. And these runners likely have the necessary system dependencies for these Python versions, hence it's working fine. Here’s the screenshot for your reference.
If you need LaTeX for your workflow, consider installing it directly on the runner instead of using a container, by using below steps.
- name: Install LaTeX
run: sudo apt-get install -y texlive-full

@gowridurgad thank you so much for your help! I will close the issue, because it is seems to be an issue of the latex container.
