One of goals of Active Admin is that you never need to "generate" code. The entire view layer is built using a new object oriented DOM implementation called Arbre (not yet released on its own). We haven't written any documentation for it yet, however you will never need to copy views into your app, rather you will override classes or subclass components.

You can take a look at the Active Admin views folder to get a sense for how its all put together. https://github.com/gregbell/active_admin/tree/master/lib/active_admin/views

I've worked out how to do this via monkey patching
Is there a a better way to hook into active admin and over ride the default view classes?
