Calculator is considering last 181 days (includes current date) instead of 180. https://ec.europa.eu/assets/home/visa-calculator/calculator.htm?lang=fr considers last 180 days instead. For example check with dates: First entrance: `09/19/2016 — 11/06/2016` Second entrance: `02/05/2017 — 05/05/2017`

I have noticed that, but I decided I was happy to err on the side of caution just in case. Those german border guards are real sticklers. I'll leave it open in case anyone else has an opinion either way.

I am writing now my own calculator. You have to calculate 180 days like @maqdev wrote, Entry date and exit date are counting as one, Article 6 No. 2 Schengen Borders Code: > 2. For the purposes of implementing paragraph 1, the date of entry shall be considered as the first day of stay on the territory of the Member States and the date of exit shall be considered as the last day of stay on the territory of the Member States. Periods of stay authorised under a residence permit or a long-stay visa shall not be taken into account in the calculation of the duration of stay on the territory of the Member States.
