On a Mac, the open command opens a file in it's associated application, so calling open an an html file would open it a web browser.
Since you are on linux, you should just open presentation.html in a web browser or use some other command line tool if you prefer.
Us putting open in the README is just a cool Mac trick ;)

That makes a lot of sense...I was sure it would have been that trivial :)
Happy to say that my first "Hello World" presentation is up and running and can't wait
to build more on them.
