The tittle (a.k.a. dot over the i and j) needs a hint to prevent it from collapsing down to the x-height.

@dfernandez79 I assume you are using the TrueType fonts on Windows? Can you confirm this is correct?

@pauldhunt the font was in .woff format from TTF. The good news is... I tried with the binary version from Source Forge and it worked as expected :)
The bad news is I cannot tell how that version of .woff get into my web app, Font Forge reports sfnt Revision 1.017 for both files (the wrong and the right one).
So false alarm, I was able to fix the problem by using the right .woff file.
Sorry for the noise guys, and many thanks for the quick respose!
