Spurious error during sign-in to WebSockets

The WebSocket connection is established before a Toot is chosen, but currently gives a spurious failure (or several) before a successful connection is established, possibly due to a race condition with the Firebase authentication. This usually goes away after about 5s.

Error in error handler: `invalid number of arguments: 0`

Seems to be an error-handler that is invoked when an error is signaled within a worker thread, but then itself has a bug.

Emoji menu clean-up

Some of the emoji multi-part characters were split up into multiple spans, leaving weird gaps in the emoji menu.

Eyeballs fall off

Sometimes when walking the eyes and eyebrows (and pads?) get dropped and don't move with the Toot

RFE: return to login screen when pop-ups close and not logged in

When the player has not signed in, they can still activate some pop-up controls, like the Control Panel. This could be intentional — eg, to activate full screen mode — or accidental, eg, connecting a gamepad.
When these pop-ups are closed, the login box should re-appear.
