Another example: google:chrome.
Search is slow for products with hundreds to thousands of versions in a single CVE. This is due to the way mongodb uses indexes for the left aligned regex search: first a lookup of all existing matches is made using the regex. These are saved in a temporary collection. This collection is then used against the actual index to query matching items.
To improve this a separate versionless product array could be added to each CVE, for vulnerable product and separately for vulnerable configuration.
