If I'm reading this (http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/11437004031?page=1#1) correctly we might be able to send the list via the priveleged call to reduce the general confederation channel chatter.

Even if there is a need to resort to exchanging lists, BattleNet is out of scope and player to player messaging doesn't scale well. It's not clear that the confederation channel needs to be used for sharing information, either. All of the information is available directly through the API.

I'm going to look at hooking this function in FrameXML/FriendsFrame.lua.

function WhoFrameEditBox_OnEnterPressed(self)
    SendWho(self:GetText());
    self:ClearFocus();
end

This should allow transparent use of the FriendsFrame guild who.

Actually, the hook idea isn't very useful. I'm simply putting a new button in the WhoFrame to query the online confederation members.

I'm scuttling this effort. The complexity it adds is too far out of scope for GreenWall.
