An app using Lottie 4.6.1 crashes immediately on launch when running on a physical device with iOS 27.0 Developer Beta. The same build runs correctly on the iOS 26.5 simulator. The crash occurs before any app code executes, suggesting a dynamic linker failure (missing or changed symbol in the iOS 27 runtime). Lottie 4.6.1 via SPM iOS 27.0 Developer Beta crashes iOS 26.5 simulator works Xcode 27 beta macOS 27.0 Developer Beta iOS 26.0 minimum deployment target The app crashes before any Swift code runs. The Xcode debugger shows: - Signal: `SIGABRT` - Crashed thread: Thread 1 - `dyld __abort_with_payload` - Memory at the crash: 0KB (process never fully initialized) - Visible call stack: ``` 0 dyld __abort_with_payload ... 6 dyld start ``` Workaround: Removing Lottie from SPM dependencies entirely resolves the crash, which strongly suggests the crash originates from Lottie's framework loading. Wrapping usage in `#available(iOS 27, *)` does *not* help, since the crash occurs during dynamic linking before any Swift code runs. This may be related to an API removed or renamed between iOS 26 and 27. I searched the existing issues and did not find any prior reports of this on iOS 27. Happy to provide more diagnostic information if there is a way to get the full symbolicated stack trace from a dyld-level crash on a beta device.
