PoMetaDataEntry about form2pdf

Thanks for your comments. Are you able to update your Lazarus and Free Pascal to Lazarus 2.0.12 and FPC 3.2.0 or higher? poMetaDataEntry was only defined in version 3.2.0 of FPC.

As far as the misalignment of the text is concerned if you can provide some screenshots and the code generating the misalignment that would be great. Unfortunately Form2PDF is still very rough around the edges and I have only implemented a very limited subsection of control alignment. Text alignment in the horizontal plane should work, but I have not yet implemented alignment in the vertical plane.

Good morning Alan, Thanks for the quick reply. I'll update Lazarus and FPC this morning. Meanwhile here are 2 screenshots. One is a screen snip of the actual invoice form, the other is a snip of the pdf created by Form2PDF. The vertical text alignment is probably a pretty easy one to solve, but what is transposing top to bottom might be harder to track down. As for my code, in my test, since I had work around PoMetaDataEntry, I just save the file to disc by calling FormToPDF(FileName:string):integer; I'll let you know what happens after I get the updates done. As you can see, it's not just a matter of inversion. Strangely it's not in exactly backwards order. Things are mixed up. Thanks, Steve

I think I know what the problem is. Did you by any chance remove or comment out the poPageOriginAtTop option when you removed the poMetadataEntry option?

PDF coordinates increase from bottom left to top right. Most imaging systems including windows increase from top left to bottom right. The poPageOriginAtTop option tells fcl-pdf that you are using windows coordinates not PDF.

Put this option in again and see if it solves the problem.
