stock-watch's Introduction

StockWatch

A just-for-fun project to help research of US stock trends by displaying stock data in meaningful ways

Planned features include:

  • Search for stock by ticker (currently implemented)
  • Search for stock by market sector
  • Display of individual stock's market trend by time periods including d3js charts for visualization
    • Display of individual stock's major market events such as earnings releases, dividend payments, splits, etc to overlay the trend chart
  • Comparison of 2 (or more) stocks' trends over time periods with overlayed d3js line charts
  • Search for latest news / press about individual stock or company
