Maybe it would be wise to create a branch for WIP. Or at least have one stable branch, as there are many people who want to try ultracopier, and for packaging it into a distribution is also an argument to have one.

All this repository is under GPL3, you are free to do rpm and deb to ship under Linux distro

@moceap The code is licence as open source, but an open source code not mean at all free of pay. @alphaonex86 want a retribution for his work, with all his right and is his decision generate the code in the way that he wants.

Anyway, you are also free to modify his code in the way you want, but you can not force him to generate the code in the way that you want, because is so clear that in the way you want, he will not receive any type of financial retribution to continue making progress.

To be honest, i also dislike how he is doing the things, but he have all right to do the things like is more convenient to him... We are allowed for him to modify his code in the way we want, so you will need to modify the code to remove the key request if you want or also more things if you want.

Note: All this is base on legal reasons, but you will damage his way of receive financial resource if you do that in that way.

Ok, what OS do you use? What FS? What FS encoding? You have the problem only with file into path with special char?

Encoding: Where I can get it ? (anyway I think UTF8)
