The main goal of RetroPix is to enhance cultural connections and allow individuals to experience and appreciate different historical eras and cultures through personalized imagery.

Prerequisites

Installing

1. Clone the repository

   git clone https://github.com/yourusername/retropix.git
   cd retropix

2. Install dependencies

   npm install

3. Set up environment variables

   Create a .env file in the root directory and add your API keys:

   COHERE_API_KEY=
   GOOEY_API_KEY=
   

4. Run the application

   npm start

   Visit http://localhost:3000 in your browser to view the app.

Usage

To use RetroPix, simply upload a photo, select your desired time period and location, and let the AI work its magic. The transformed image will be displayed, allowing you to see yourself in a completely different era and location.
