Are you self-hosted? I.e., not running the website off GitHub-pages/AWS/GCP/etc? ...I guess it is just an idle question-of-curiosity.

I think it's back up (it's resolving here). I'm on a Digital Ocean droplet, but my DNS setup could be better (it's been stable for years, so I hadn't messed with it).

DO, DNS, etc

Ah, I have some stuff running on DO Droplets, too. Their stuff is solid. And cheap -- good for micro-server projects.

May I ask what you use for DNS? I was particularly fond of Google's Domain services, which had good pricing, rock-solid stability, etc. Only downside was that they did not support registration of all TLDs (notable to me: the ".ai" TLD was not supported) ...and I'm using past-tense because they just got acquired by SquareSpace's domain service: announcement. So, I'll see how things are there. I might go back to using Amazon's Route53 for everything, but AWS stuff is always more clickety-clicking to get everything wired up. And Route53 registrar does not support .ai, .rs, .md, and many other common TLDs. You can register elsewhere, then use Route53, but I really prefer a one-stop shop.

.....I'll stop whining now.
