It is worth nothing that we have a script now for setting up a remote machine: https://github.com/amilner42/meen-kickstarter/blob/master/bin/setup-remote.ubuntu1404.sh.
So on a remote Ubuntu machine you could simply:
- Get git.
- Git clone
./bin/setup-remote.ubuntu1404.sh./bin/install.sh./bin/run.prod.sh
I'm not closing the issue though because:
- Immutable deployment infrastructure may be better.
- We need to set up the environment variables for deploying properly (I shouldnt have to manually change code in
Config.elm
from web-app-kickstarter.
