Hi @haiazuki, thanks for the report! Based on our read of the CycloneDX specification, those fields aren't required, so we don't include them. It's definitely something we will consider adding. In the meantime, a workaround might be to add a step after your Syft run to modify the output using jq
or similar tool and add those fields to the document.

We have had some other requests for ways to add additional information to the SBOM documents. It would be nice to spend some time designing a generalized approach for this.

Thank you for considering this enhancement. Yes, for now we are manually adding the metadata/authors element on our sboms as required by our organization.
