There are two ways:
Method 1:
val et:TextInputEditText...
Validation(et?.text?.toString() ?: "") <- As Validation(...) only accept non-nullable value
or
Method 2 (Recommended):
val inputLayout: TextInputLayout...
Validation(inputLayout) <- Using this will handle everything in Method 1
