Thanks for the pointer! That is interesting reading. I do wonder what the left-out document 5 was - it sounds like the internal discussion about what to do about our report.

Some time ago the AEC contacted me and asked if I had any problems with my report (included in this repo) being made public in an FOI request. Of course I didn't have any problems, but I was curious what the request was about and am glad to now know!

We pointed out a problem shortly after the 2016 election (not doing bulk exclusions), but they blew it off saying it was optional (bizarre) and can't change the result (incorrect). I was half expecting that email exchange to be in the FOI results. That may just have missed your timetable, or they may have decided that it was not about independent verification, but rather independent un-verification, and therefore outside the scope of the FOI.
