I'm curious, is the SID it's trying to convert one of the members of that list or an existing member of SeAuditPrivilege. It sounds like the domain controller is intermittently not available to translate the SID to an account name but we would need more info to figure that out.

I believe this has actually been fixed with #91 already. The changes made in that code will not treat a SID translation error from LSA as a failure and just use that raw SID value for the diff and output reporting. The only time this would now occur is if the input users cannot be translated to a SID. This is unfortunately a hard error as LSA requires the configuration to be a SID value and failing to do this means we cannot add/set/remove that user.
