Hey @patogit maybe you can use the following:

  • Read this blog post and check the MACVLAN Driver part
  • LibreMesh usually runs routing protocols on different VLANS (e.g. BMX7 on 18), figure out which VLAN you will need
  • Setup the LibreMesh config to use VLAN 0 but docker to use the VLAN LibreMesh usually assigns
  • Connected routers to your device desktop should be able to communicate

Please let me know if this works, I just came up with the idea and have not tested anything

Maybe this will work for us (from this readme):

docker run -it --rm --net=host haakonn/mactelnet mactelnetd …
Note that Docker runs containers on isolated internal networks by default. --net=host instructs Docker to provide mactelnet direct access to the host machine's network interfaces.
