According to their website, PHP mail() is restricted, but they don't restrict sending email with external providers.

@AnanyaSDhar i can assign this to you , but firstly, do previous issue because even if PR merge and hosting restrict mail sending, i have to revert back (100% chances) your work will be waste. So check it first on priority.

you can just create a account on infinity free and so some dummy stuff and check mail is sending or not.

PHP mail() is restricted on the hosting platform. I tried SwiftMailer, didn't work out as I expected. https://github.com/InfinityFreeHosting/contactform is another method. But didn't get enough time to set it up.
I think you should assign it to someone else.

@apoorvaron actually this issue is because of gmail security, you need to create an App Password for mail, and then that password will works fine.

@apoorvaron Under emailManager, there is file name email_config.php you will find all the global variables there, which are used in sending emails.

And to generate App password for mail, you can use you This Link to directly go to inside the 2-Step verification window, and there you will find an option to create a new app password.

Remember, you have to create one for mail

And then add this password in the email_config.php file.
