Twitter Shortcode appears broken about blist-hugo-theme

The issue is because of the Hugo version difference in your local machine and netlify. Hugo updated their shortcode to include user ID also for tweet in newer versions.

So if its working for you locally, make sure to set the same hugo version in netlify also. Refer: https://docs.netlify.com/integrations/frameworks/hugo/#hugo-version

This is intentional. In the example site content, we use twitter_simple hugo shortcode instead of tweet shortcode.
The simple one avoids loading twitter's javascript into the page thereby preventing any kind of tracking from them.

@apvarun -You were correct with my site, Netlify was building on 0.83 and my local version was 0.101, so thanks for that. The site now builds and the tweet loads and the embedded image renders correctly. 👍

The tweet is still broken on your test site though. Could it be a simialr issue? https://blist.vercel.app/en/blog/rich-content
