yeah when i saw that nextTick hack it made me cringe haha, polling like that is madness. I cant get the examples to run though I'm just getting

Error: Previous file not finished

but if this thing gets reasonably stable I'd definitely contribute, we need it pretty soon

Sorry, I didn't realise that my changes disappeared from my fork while I was fiddling around with git.

Here were the changes but it's for an old version of zipstream a few months ago...
