Did you apply the hardware patch as stated in the X_NUCLEO pages (https://developer.mbed.org/components/X-NUCLEO-IDB05A1-Bluetooth-Low-Energy/).
Arduino Connector Compatibility Warning
X-NUCLEO-IDB05A1 is Arduino compatible with one exception: instead of using pin D13,
to drive the SPI clock, it uses pin D3.
For further details, please refer to page X_NUCLEO_IDB0XA1.

@pan- Sorry for my late reply. It worked fine with D13 patch version of the X-NUCLEO-IDB05A1 board. (I probably used non-patch version of the board with K64F, sorry).
