I also had same issue until I turned off the "three-finger drag". It seems that they don't play nice together.

Resurrecting this since I believe I've turned off all three finger gestures on my trackpad and still have this issue of triggering left clicks (in addition to the middle click) on a 3-finger click.

On Monterey 12.2.1 if that helps.

This is a valid point. I'm having the same issue. Does the three-finger drag itself work in your case? #48 reports that the app blocks it, but for me the drag itself works perfectly.

Sorry, but I'm not sure, to be honest. I only wanted the plugin for the three finger click. I'd have to even look up what a three finger drag even does? And since it wasn't working, I've since uninstalled it =(
