👋 Hi, I’m @ashish1610dhiman

I am a Data Scientist interested in the application application of techniques derived from Machine Learning and Optimisation towards financial services industry. I specailise in converting converting raw numbers into actionable insights, and posses Proficiency in Python, SQL, Pyspark, R, Hive, Hadoop, and AWS EMR, along with visualisation tools like Tableau.

Presently I am pursuing MS in Computational Data Science at Georgia Tech, and would be interning as Quant Analyst for Summer 23 in NYC. Before joining Georgia Tech, I worked as a Data Scientist at American Express (Credit and Fraud Risk). I graduated with a Bachelor of Technology from IIT Kharagpur in 2019, majoring in Aerospace Engineering with a micro specialisation in Optimisation Theory.

PS: Also really fascinated with remote islands like St. Helena and Madeira :)
