Hey! I'm Michael, a front-end developer and closet light-mode user.

🔬 A lot of the code I host here comes from my 4-year PhD study at the University of Florida and later 3-year postdoc at the Max Planck Institut fur Eisenforschung. My research interests have generally revolved around modeling material surfaces (especially 2D materials!) and probing their behavior in exotic environments. You can see more of my scientific profile on google scholar.

:octocat: The main projects I host here on Github can be categorized like this:

Scientific (Python) projects

Web Templates (Jekyll)

Just For Fun

Everything else: custom Atom editor themes and one-off gists, etc.
