toilet_presence_detector icon toilet_presence_detector

As many of us with aging parents or grandparents may experience, sometimes the restroom is a tricky place. My grandparent sometimes forgets to ask for assistance when using the toilet during the middle of the night. Waking up and not knowing how long they have been sitting is troubling, at the least. So this project consists of a distance sensor on the toilet, and a portable notification box. The communication is set up over wifi, using http requets. The notification sound can be custimized.
