I just installed the prowl gem from the github gem and im currently testing it out and getting the following error: undefined method `add' for #Prowl:0xae56def8 (NoMethodError) I tired using both methods: p = Prowl.new(:apikey => "apikey",:application => "blah") p.add(:event => "test",:description => "blah",:priority => 1) and just using: Prowl.add(:apikey => "apikey",:application => "blah",:event => "test",:description => "blah",:priority => 1) currently using ruby 1.8.5
Can you elaborate on "from the github gem"? The gem is published on gemcutter, and github stopped serving gems a long time ago
Sorry what i meant by github gem is in the documentation i used the following command to install it: gem install augustl-prowl --source=http://gems.github.com/ I'm relatively new to working with ruby and not too sure on much when it comes to gems and what not.
The gem is hosted in the main rubygems repository; `gem install prowl` is the correct command.
