The current editors is somewhat useless for writing, so I write in something else (Classeur, or MacDown) and paste it in.

Pasting MD into the default view of the Summernote WYSIWYG editor will give you exactly what you put in there. Per Summernote, when you click the </> code button in the toolbar, paste it in there and your post will yield the rendered markdown.
