Hi Gernot, this is because EventEmitter.js contains ES6 code which Webpack is failing to uglify.
Use eventemitter3 instead: https://www.npmjs.com/package/eventemitter3.

Hey Ho, there is already a pull request which would solve this issue - #27 - Could you please merge it? It fixes the problem.
