Hello,
Just FYI - As of now, hitting "Run" to start auto-extraction after you have a few data points manually picked will also clear your original markings.
I have identified a couple of other actions that can result in the accidental loss of data (e.g. if you decide to re-calibrate the axes after collecting data). I want the app to show appropriate warning messages when the user is about to lose data, but I'm not quite there yet.

This should not be an issue in the newer versions. I am closing out this issue.
