To work with the clipboard I use the standard tools of the gnome-shell, so it's not my fault.

Right so you figure it's a gnome issue? Or a thunderbird issue?

Also, out of curiousity are you putting rich text up or just text... cause if I paste it into gedit and then cut and paste that into Thunderbird it's fine (which I think means it's just text). When it goes straight from this app it shows an icon which makes me think it's trying to paste rich text?
