I had that error after I didn't fully restore the device properly. After re-restoring and re-running ./ipwndfu -p it worked.

How would I re-restore? Download a signed IPSW from ipsw.me, restore that, and then go back into DFU?

No, just re-restore with your generated IPSW.

I have the problem that I restore the modified ipsw but when it finishes the terminal stays in dfu mode and it does not leave there nor using a combination of buttons? Has someone happened to you? I use saw and my 3gs is from the end of 2013

You seem to be at step 4. Did you do steps 5 and 6?

@cayd12 yes. When it is in DFU mode after the restore, you need to put it into pwned dfu mode ipwndfu -x and then write the exploit to the device ipwndfu -x

I have solved it, first I put the command ./ipwndfu -p I have restored the iphone later when it is finished ./ipwndfu -x and it has already been restarted and it has worked
