Oh I might misunderstand the thread here. I thought you're asking for swapping Azure search to another VectorDB solution. NVM

Is that mainly for retrieving relative corpus? If so maybe we can first try the memory component from the semantic-kernel and see how it goes? The memory in semantic kernel also provides the function of retrieving relative corpus and we just need to provide embedding

This assumes everything's in-memory though right? It's not backed by any database.

True if we just use the built-in memory from semantic-kernel. But if we implement our own IMemoryStore` we can back it up using whatever DB we'd like

Nope.This is still using Azure Search, just switching from the current keyword based search to the vector search option.
