That's a jruby problem. Do you know if you've got any other Eclipse plugins that use JRuby at all?

Every Eclipse installation that i've tried is clean ,
i downloaded new Eclipse and installed plugin from zero.
I've tried :

Eclipse Indigo with Scala Ide 2.0.2 for Scala 2.9
Eclipse Indigo with Scala Ide 2.1 M2 for Scala 2.9
Eclipse Indigo with Scala Ide 2.1 M2 for Scala 2.10
Eclipse Yuno with Scala Ide 2.1 M2 for Scala 2.10

same error on all installations.

I've also tried Eclipse Indigo with Scala Ide 2.0.2 for Scala 2.9
on another pc , and i had same error,

Both pc have installed Ubuntu , 12.04 one and 12.10 the other.
When i have some time, i'll do some tests also on one MacBook with Mountain Lion.

On both of pc , i'have JRuby installed , with Rvm , but without any eclipse plugin.

I did some other tests,
the solution proposed here http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/JRUBY-5896 not seems to work.

I tried this configuration , Eclipse Indigo with Scala Ide 2.0.2 for Scala 2.9,
on MacBook with MountainLion and it works fine.

So the problem is related to Linux,maybe only to Ubuntu, i've also tried both jdk , OpenJdk and Oracle Jdk , but nothing change.

I noticed that at the first build , after Eclipse startup , i have also this error:

Errors occurred during the build.
Errors running builder 'Android Proguard Scala Builder' on project 'TestScala'.
java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError

i've partially solved the problem, i rapleced Jruby library inside the plugin with new 1.7.0 version.
Now building show this error :
Errors occurred during the build.
Errors running builder 'Android Proguard Scala Builder' on project 'app_xxxxx'.
(NotImplementedError) identical file detection unsupported or native support failed to load.

Also if application building crash , scala_library.min.jar is well generated , so i can still work with this solution, building application with plugin enabled first and without after , of course this can't be final solution.

Any idea to solve this new error ?

It looks like you're hitting http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/JRUBY-6982.

My guess is that I'll have the pure scala version ready in a week or so,
hopefully avoiding these jruby problems you're seeing.

Yes problem seems to be that http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/JRUBY-6982.

I look forward to try new Scala version , your plugin is really good,
i hope it will become the standard way to develop for Android in Scala.
