What's up with all the getters and setters, anyway?

RiakObject's get_data/set_data methods can be confusing:

>>> bucket = riak.bucket("test")
>>> obj = bucket.new("foo", {})
>>> data = obj.get_data()
>>> data is obj._data
True
>>> data["foo"] = "bar"
>>> obj.get_data() # obj.set_data(data) not called
{'foo': 'bar'}
